archangel9 Posted 25 January , 2009 Share Posted 25 January , 2009 SDGW (Ancestry) Name: William Dennison Birth Place: Barony, Glasgow, Lanarkshire Residence: Glasgow Death Date: 14 Sep 1914 Enlistment Location: Glasgow Rank: Private Regiment: Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders Battalion: 1st Battalion. Number: 7683 Type of Casualty: Killed in action Theater of War: Aldershot "Residence" and "Enlistment Location" are probably switched (a fault with Ancestry) The theatre of war is also incorrect, as are all ancestry theatres. Another Ancestry discrepancy - SN is different!
