Eirian Posted 24 January , 2009 Share Posted 24 January , 2009 This website has an image of the 4 sides of the Haslemere War Memorial, which you can click to 'rotate' and see the names on all sides. It also gives the place where casualty died, which I understand is quite unusual. Hope this might be of interest to someone. (Click on the picture of the war memorial.) The case study has a family connection, although I personally don't have anything to do with the website and only stumbled across it by accident. Doc Posted 24 January , 2009 Share Posted 24 January , 2009 A fantastic link. Impressed with the way the personal details come up on each name on the WM.
Alan Tucker Posted 25 January , 2009 Share Posted 25 January , 2009 This is a really nice piece of work. I have bookmarked it because I have often guided Western Front tours from a school in Haslemere. I always look for local examples so next time this site will save me some time
