brimacombe Posted 23 January , 2009 Share Posted 23 January , 2009 First of all may I thank all fellow forum members who have been kind enough to take the time and effort to take and forward photographs of some specific graves memorials of 'My' Holsworthy Boys. Of the 36 who gave their lives during the war I have only four who, so far, I have been unable to obtain photographs of their gravestone or memorial. Can ANYONE help with the following – Godewaersvelde British Cemetery (I.P.35) - Pte William GERRY, Devonshire Regt, 12 Oct 1917 Caudry British Cemetery (IV.C.26) - Pte Gilbert CLIFTON (MM), 6th Royal West Kents, 23 Dec 1917 Lillers Communal Cemetery (V.F.44) - Spr William Thomas Short, Royal Engineers, 11 Apr 1918 Targelle Ravine British Cemetery (G.23) - L/Cpl Charles Edgar Ford, Wiltshire Regt, 18 September 1918 I would be truly truly grateful if anyone could help me complete this part of my quest. Once again, thank you so much to all the help received up to now. Where would we be without the help and assistance of fellow forum members… Kind regards Shawn
