Jim Clay Posted 21 January , 2009 Share Posted 21 January , 2009 Very good, Ian. (I particularly liked the Ludgate Circus 'parade' pics. Did you notice the traffic calming sign at the Fleet St side of the crossroads: 'Drive Extremely Slowly'? That would do it, I suppose.) ian turner Posted 21 January , 2009 Author Share Posted 21 January , 2009 Jim, Yes, can you imagine if the tanks were not slowed down on such a bend.....

centurion Posted 21 January , 2009 Share Posted 21 January , 2009 Worth a look - on Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/nationallibra...57610011235962/ Nice pair of Mk Vs - a Mk V male and a Mk V* female (or just possibly one or both might be a composite). The home service numbers on them are interesting. 832 is already known but AFAIK the this is the first photo to show a Mk V Male with a Home Service Number. This tank also has the later roof vent (just visible behind the silencer) as part of the augmented cooling system for the tank interior

There is another picture which shows this tank from the other side with the same HS number. Unfortunately it is in the background of the picture and very small. Attached is a close up of the picture.
