ulsterlad2 Posted 18 January , 2009 Share Posted 18 January , 2009 Hi Inniskilling. If you order his full service record, it will tell you if the memorial cross was sent to his next of kin. Advice on how to do that can be found via the ............How to consult a file ........ link on this page. http://www.collectionscanada.gc.ca/databas...8pbbpa9db2hv8s3

HarryBettsMCDCM Posted 18 January , 2009 Share Posted 18 January , 2009 In fact Memorial Crosses were sent to more than one recipient, for instance; the soldiers Mother would receive one & if married the Spouse would also receive one,[along with the Plaque & Medals as immediate NoK {the mother then "ranking" second in line}]
