Can anyone tell me where Rugeley Camp was located, was it Staffordshire ?.

Yes. There were a series of camps stretching across Cannock Chase, starting at Rugeley and going across towards Penkridge. There's a very good little book about it, called "A town for four winters"

In case it's of interest, I attach an old photo I recently came across, taken at Rugeley Camp in May 1917. I believe one of the soldiers is my grandfather (possibly 2nd from right, back row).
