If you have an interest in this unit the following extract may 'fill in a gap'.

From the Blofield Deanery Magazine (Norfolk) May 1916.

Upton (St Margaret)

We were glad to have B Company of the 7th Batt. Wesh Cyclists quartered upon us, and we were all sorry when they suddenlyl left after only 10 days’ stay. Beofre leaving, Capt Ingledew wrote a letter expressing the cordial thanks of officers, non-commissioned officers and men of the Institute Committee, the ladies who managed the canteen, and all others who had done so much to make their visit as pleasant as possible.
