Chris_Baker Posted 14 March , 2004 Share Posted 14 March , 2004 1. Easy to do. Look him up at the London Gazette website. The promotions and appointments of all officers were announced in that paper. The search engine on the website is a little iffy, but you should find him if you persist. 2. Less easy depending on where you live. His service file is held at the National Archives in Kew.
