Hi Doug,

Sorry for the delay in answering but my computer has been down and i have only just got back online. I have just recieved Walter's military records and it does'nt have any medals on there that he may have won. All i have on him is that he joined 9th Dec 1916 at Abingdon and he was a salesman. He was killed in Action on 6th Nov 1917 in Belguim. If you have nothing on him then i guess that he died as many did, a hero with no medal.

Many thanks for your help in this

Mike
