Clare Ireland, the Medal ,awarded to Patrick King is now in Clare County Museum, the finder Alan Barnes wants to return it to relatives or descendants of Private King. Stephen Nulty Posted 24 November , 2008 Share Posted 24 November , 2008 SDGW shows him as enlisting in Ennis, so looks like he probably hadn't moved to the UK. His number suggests a pre-War regular (2nd Bn) in around 1903. CWGC states "Son of George and Alice King; husband of Mary Anne King, of Turnpike, Ermis, Co. Clare."
