Barrett Posted 23 November , 2008 Share Posted 23 November , 2008 Greetings all.....recently purchased WW1 trio (1914 star, B.W.M., V.M.) from dealer in U.K. awarded to Pte. George Frost #4720 3rd Rifle Brigade....his battalion arrived in France 10-09-14. I have a copy of his M.I.C. which states simply that he was killed in action. I also obtained copy of medal roll which verifies entitlement to above listed medals but gives no information regarding when he was killed. He is not listed in CWWG. Can anyone help shed some light on where and when he died during the war? Thanks in advance for you interest and research assistance.

per ardua per mare per terram Posted 24 November , 2008 Share Posted 24 November , 2008 Have you obtained copies of both medal rolls? Sometimes the information is on one, but not the other.
