Remembered Today:

Ancestor in the royal fusiliers

notforgotten

Recommended Posts

I am attempting to find out about one of my ancestors who were in the Royal Fusiliers according to his wedding certificate in 1915.

I have membership to ancestry.co.uk looking at the medal cards through the site I am unable to see any address on the second part of the medal card.

If I have the right Michael Hearn he is listed as pte 4651 and Lab corps 341247.

Can anyone shed any light on this for me please?

Regards,

Bill.

Only a few of the Medal Index Cards have an address on, those that do are usually for officers. Have you also tried looking for his service papers, or on the absent voters list for his service number?
