4thGordons Posted 15 November , 2008 Share Posted 15 November , 2008 Just ran accross this, I hadn't seen these all listed before: List available on this page HERE (scroll page down slightly for list)As I understand it these are the diaries ALREADY digitised and that can be downloaded (for a fee) immediately. Thought this might be of use to others. Chris

jay dubaya Posted 15 November , 2008 Share Posted 15 November , 2008 Always worth knowing these things, thanks Chris. I just wish they'd do the artillery as well, Jon
John_Hartley Posted 15 November , 2008 Share Posted 15 November , 2008 Yep. This has been an ongoing NA project for a while. Costs are £3.50 per download (for which you normally get a month's war diary). Well worth doing if you can't easily get to Kew (or want to save time whilst you're there). Members visitng Kew shouls also note that , when a diary is digitally available, the original is normally withdrawn from public access. Longboat Posted 12 March , 2009 Share Posted 12 March , 2009 Does anybody know how accurate this list is? Only I've been searching for the 23rd Middlesex War Diary for the months of Oct/Nov 1916 and they are not in WO95/ 2638 with the other btns of 123rd Brigade. Instead the 2/4th Queen's are listed and as far as I'm aware they never were part of the 123rd Brigade or the 41st Division. Any feedback would be much appreciated regards Stuart.
