Guest unclebert Posted 15 November , 2008 Share Posted 15 November , 2008 I am trying to trace any information about my great uncle Albert Morris 12084. I have looked up his records at the Public Records Office along with his medal roll card but I cant find any info on were he served etc. His medal card states RFA/123B and there are othermentions on his records that include 34th Reserve Battery 1914, 52nd Reserve Brigade 1916, 63rd Brigade 1918 and the 213 Battery 1917 I am fairly new this this so any help would be much appreciated
sotonmate Posted 15 November , 2008 Share Posted 15 November , 2008 ww1p Not all of the units you mention served in a Theatre of War. I can,for the moment, find only one with a War Diary and that is 63 Brigade RFA,which was with 12 Division. The Diary ref at Kew Archives is WO95/1838 and runs from Jan 1915 to Apr 1919.
