foolish_fire Posted 8 November , 2008 Share Posted 8 November , 2008 A couple of years ago I found a group of postcards in a 2nd hand bookshop, some were just portraits of 3 men that may be from the same regiment, but only one had a name on the back. Having spoken to the shop owner he said they came from a house clearance and know no more about them I've just got back from the IWM and having spoken to one of the historians there we think we've narrowed down the possibilities, It could be either the Royal Marine or the Engineers. I think the name on the back says it's- Cpl E Atkins 207431 Hqtrs signal coy 63rd RN division -The E may be for Ern, if I've read it correctly. I couldn't upload them here as the files are too large but hopefully the link to them works! Any help with these would be appreciated. Thanks. link to photos

Would the RND be the navel division? as there is a postcard from the Mediterranean Expeditionary force, Mudros harbour
