WW1RGAfinder Posted 6 November , 2008 Share Posted 6 November , 2008 Hi James, My grandad was also there on that date, although he was in the RGA, in his journal for 19th April 1917 he writes "Opened fire at 5:30am and continued a terrific bombardment on Gaza all day till dark an awful row, taubes over looking for us, fired 150 rounds, moved to new positions at night."
