The War Diary is WO95/1853 and runs from Jun 1915 to May 1919.

Your subject seems to have been re-buried into LOOS Cemetery from COURCELLES after the Armistice when concentration of the many small cemeteries was undertaken.

Graeme,

The Battalion war diary reads as follows:-

15th October.

Battalion took over entire Brigade front relieving the 1/1st Cambs and 9th Essex. Front strengthened by attachment of three sections of machine guns. Intermittent shelling during relief.

16th October.

The whole front heavily shelled, especially Battalion Headquarters in Courcelles, 25 casualties being caused.
