Petre's 'History of the Norfolk Regiment' states the 1st Battalion was still in the trenches at Verbranden Molen for the first thirteen days of July 1915, during that period 1 officer and 7 other ranks were killed and 39 o.r's wounded. There is possibly more on Richard Campling at the Norfolk Regimental Museum here in Norwich, drop them a line, they are very helpful.
