Hello All

Does anyone know of a list of ships damagesd or sunk at

Helligoland Bight, I have found a list for the battle of Jutland

but cannot find anything for action in the Bight.

Thank you HP I found that one, what I am looking for is a list of ship casulalties,

as I am trying to find the ship from which a sailor spent many hours in the sea

waiting to be rescued.

Margarette

The Naval Review has a past issues section. Its 1917 Volume has contemporary articles about the action.

what I am looking for is a list of ship casulalties,

Margarette.

On p.10 of The Times, Monday 31 Aug 1914, there is a list of casualties. Included in the list are the names of those wounded (slightly, seriously, dangerously). The ships mentioned are Arethusa, Liberty and Laurel. There is also a list of mine-sweeping casualties. If you don't have access, let me know and I'll send it to you.

regards,

Martin
