Cockayne Posted 6 February , 2003 Share Posted 6 February , 2003 I am looking for personal accounts of soldiers that served with the 62nd division, in particular the 2/4th York and Lancaster Battn. I wonder if anyone has come across any such books in the course of their research and I would be grateful if they could pass on the book details to me. Thanks Paul
Greenwoodman Posted 6 February , 2003 Share Posted 6 February , 2003 There's a book called "The 187th Infantry Brigade in France 1917-1918", published in London by the War Narratives Pub. Co. in 1919 44 pages. Battalions covered include 2/4th, 5th, 2/5th KOYLI and 2/4th and 2/5th York and Lancaster. Now the trick will be to find it! At only 44 pages long, not many may have survived.
