Can you ID this tank/transporter?

Can someone tell me a bit about this contraption. Darlington_C1331 It looks like a variation of a whippet. The big gun looks to be fitted, as the wheels are bolted to the aft of the hull. I have seen other variations with two drivers cabs, this version has one. The gun carriage seems to be sticking out at the front also.

And carrying a gun (most were converted to supply carrier). The lack of the starboard cab is unusual. Some one got the centre of gravity calcs wrong so that when carrying a gun they were too nose heavy which affected , adversly, their ability to cross even quite shallow craters

Thanks for the pointers. I did'nt think it was built on a Mk1 due to the low track height and single engine.

The carrier shown is "Darlington CC331", the same as the model in the link. The model shows two cabs though. I would have thought one cab for each track!

The picture is from a movie on the Canadian site "Images of a forgotten war", which also shows some troop/supply carriers, a MK 1 supply tank, that tank park some one was asking about in a another thread and one of those male + female Mk Iv or Vs.
