Hi,

I recently acquired three images of soldiers that were patients at Elm House in Enfield. I've been told that this might have been located 5 miles to the North of London. Anyone know about this hospital? These photos wetre taken by a Fred Roberts of 42 Manor Road in Enfield. Was he just a local photographer?

Elm House was a private school in Fore Street near the junction with Brettenham Road, Lower Edmonton. The building was built in the early 18th.Century and demolished in 1952.

This location is approx. 4 miles from Manor Road.
