i have recently found

naval allotment No 233890

29 may 1909

thomas keegan

made the allotment of 1 pound per month

in fovour of his mother

this is the only document i have on him

where can i find some info please

Tommy,

HMS Fantome was a Royal Navy Survey Ship at that time working in Australian waters, she transferred to the Royal Australian Navy for the war period, remaining in Australian waters until disposal.

where can i get more information on the ship and her crew

i wonder if the crew transferred to the australian navy when the Fantome was handed oner ?
