Cant believe I took this 10 years ago on my first battlefield tour with the TA.

I have jacked in the day job and concentrate on me research and fingers crossed an MA at Birmingham in Sept.

I am sure most people know where this was taken.

The Leipzig Salient on the Somme. The trees surround an old chalk quarry which formed the tip of the German defences below Thiepval.
