Sorry, can't figure out how to add photos! All mine are too big and I can't figure out how to reduce their size and post them like everyone else. Hmmm. I'll try and sort it out. That last PDF is not what I want.

Upload them to Photobucket and use the IMG code, you can post them as big as you want then...!! ;)

17 pages of wonderful and thought-provoking images took me just over an hour to devour. What talented photographers. Thank you

Hi Andy- I don't mind at all- I have it as my wallpaper too.

I took it on September 25th, at the Lone Tree, Loos.

There's a thread here

with another of my favourites.

In November 2005, I was on the Somme with my son-in-law when a hoar frost descended.

The first two photos are from Guards Cemetery Lesboeufs. I could not help but smile at the irony of the Casualty's Surname. And one which will need no identifcation in Guillemont Road Cemetery.

There are some great photos in this thread - here's my contribution. I took them last week, on my first visit to Flanders.

Mt Kemmel from Bayernweld:

The Menin Gate:

and Yorkshire Trench in the mist.

Photos of British cemeteries are in the majority on the Forum

But here a German cemetery

Deutsche Kriegsgräberstätte Sailly sur la Lys.

Beautiful and full of atmosphere

Well worth a visit.
