Trying to get some info on my grandmothers 1st husband(didn't know about this until

recently)! Also on if she was entitled to or was collecting War Widows benefits!

His name was : Charles Thomas Dolman-#10419-15th Service Battalion-

Lancashire Fusiliers!-Salford Pals!

Killed in action on July 17-1917-Nieuport.

This is all I have-need help-appreciate very much!

As she was with child--where or how would I find out about any WW1 War Benefits she might have recieved!

Thank you

Just a little extra...

10419 Private Charles Dolman was an original "Pal" and is listed in their "Book of Honour". He was a member (Drummer) of the 15th Battalion's bugle band (so was possibly employed as a stretcher-bearer????). He was born in Salford and enlisted in Salford, but is not mentioned in the Salford volume of the "National Roll of the Great War".

Dave.

Gordon

Whilst researching my G Grandfathers records his widows pension details were included. He was killed in 1915 and my G Grandmother was granted a pension of 21 Shillings a week, it clearly mentions that she had two dependent children so this affected the amount.

Hope this helps.

Pte. Charles Thomas Dolman #10419

Any HELP appreciated!

I'm still searching for any info on how to find out about how to get info

on WW1 War Widows( with child) collecting a Pension!

If his records survived-would they give any of this info?

My next step to figure out-is how to get or research for his Military records!

thank you
