CROONAERT Posted 1 March , 2004 Share Posted 1 March , 2004 Just a little extra... 10419 Private Charles Dolman was an original "Pal" and is listed in their "Book of Honour". He was a member (Drummer) of the 15th Battalion's bugle band (so was possibly employed as a stretcher-bearer????). He was born in Salford and enlisted in Salford, but is not mentioned in the Salford volume of the "National Roll of the Great War". Dave.
Eddie Bosano-Andrews Posted 1 March , 2004 Share Posted 1 March , 2004 Gordon Whilst researching my G Grandfathers records his widows pension details were included. He was killed in 1915 and my G Grandmother was granted a pension of 21 Shillings a week, it clearly mentions that she had two dependent children so this affected the amount. Hope this helps.
