He was awarded the MM late 1917 and gassed about the same time. He was an Old Comtemptable. Is there any way I can find out what he did to get the MM? 19th Coy and 22Coy RGA. I was surprised that it wasn't Battery. My paternal Grandfather's Units. 1/3rd East Anglian Field Ambulance. My father's Unit. I know they were at Suvla but wher did they go after that? Paternal Grandfather: Gunner John Edward Charlton 96821 19th and 22nd Coy RGA (died 1942?)
