Richard Good - Munster Fusiliers

Hi All

On behalf of a colleague I am looking for any information on a Private Richard Good (6614), a regular with the 1st Battalion RMF. His MIC indicates he arrived in FandF on 13/8/14, presumably as part of the 2nd given that the 1st were overseas. He served in South Africa and has a Mons trio with clasp. I assume he took part in the action at Etreux but have little to go on. Has any RMF expert turned him up in any research? Anything at all would be great.

Cheers

Danny

Danny, Dont know if you have the reverse side of his MIC which gives the address 23 Boyers St Cork Ireland. Entitled to the QSA with three bars Cape Colony, Orange Free State and South Africa 1902. Ralph.

Hi

Thanks for your reply. My colleague is from Cork so I would assume that's him. I know that he was recalled in 1914 and I have seen his medals. He was not at Gallipoli as he was involed in training but beyond that my pal knows little. Anything you can add would be fantastic.

Danny
