My wife has just fond out about a Douglas Keeley Kevan who was in the London Scottish during WW1, she is told he was eventually a Lieutennant possibily in another regiment is related to her family.

Anyone have any ideas where the best place to look for information would be.

There is an officer's file at National Archive, Kew for a KEVAN, D.K., reference file WO339/29198.

Medal Card shows him as a private in the 14th London rifles no 2063 in 1914

France 22/11/1914

Promoted to Lt 3/5/15 to ASC.

1921 address of c/o Dr W.H. Paine, The Limes,Green Lanes, London N22.
