He was born 24/04/1889 in Dublin, Ireland. 16th June 1916, I presume he was in Dublin City, as that is where my Mum was Baptised. On 2nd April 1918 he was living at South St., Colchester Essex. grantowi Posted 1 September , 2008 Share Posted 1 September , 2008 Teresa, you sure he was with the Royal Fusiliers ? there are 2 James F Pollard's MIC's on the national archives site, 1 for the Grenadier Guards, and 1 for the Royal Garrison Artillery. Father: James Feles Pollard, Occupation: Corporal in The Royal Fusiliers no. 316211.... plus Painter Journeyman. By 1924 we know the family were back in Dubln when the youngest daugher was born. Another daughter one was born in 1921..presume its Dublin, but Dublin can't find a birth certificate. The family then settled in London c.1928.
