Dannemois Posted 1 September , 2008 Share Posted 1 September , 2008 I am courious regarding a soldier who joined the 6th Dragoons as a trooper, sent to France 16 Dec 1914 why he transferred to the RWR as a Pte. Would he have had a choice or was soldiers transferred as required. This particular soldier William Clegorn Smith survived the war serving with these two regiments, can someone please tell where and what he might have experienced with the Dragoons and with the RWR.
