Meaning of (T & T)

What do the letters "(T & T)" mean, please? I have seen these written against the report of a soldier who had gunshot wounds.

Through and through.

Thanks Chris,

I assume that this means that the bullet or whatever passed straight through? I query this because he was shot in the back but I suppose it depends on where he was shot.

Thanks again,

Jayenn
