medal rolls

I finally managed to get a copy of my great uncles medal roll and hope someone could help me understand the remarks on the roll, they read

Private H Howcroft 88960 2nd Manchester regiment

And then under remarks it says

NON EFFECTIVE

1.v.x/3413,d/5-6-24, A/S, H/1207 IRAQ

YES

Any help would be greatly appreciated

He may have left the Army at the time the medal was issued, do you have his servce record.

You could also try to see if anyone on the Manchesters forum have any info on him:

The only other information I have is a copy of his medal card which I have attached. I will check the Manchesters site and see if they can help.
