Can anybody identify the soldier's rank and regiment from his uniform and cap badge? Am I right in thinking he might have been a farrier? Many thanks. He also seems to have a horseshoe above his sergeant stripes (and grenade) that would seem to confirm that he was a Farrier Sergeant. The spurs also strongly suggest that he works with horses! Steve.
