owen4256 Posted 22 August , 2008 Share Posted 22 August , 2008 Frank Dorling was killed in action with C Company 1st Essex in the fighting around Infantry Hill near Monchy Le Preux. If you search the forum for "Essex" and "Monchy" you will find a previous thread with details of the action and maps from the regimental history.
