JulianB Posted 25 February , 2004 Share Posted 25 February , 2004 I would be grateful if anyone out there has any information on this officer. I know he was KIA 27.03.1917 but it took me time to find him in CWGC because his nationality was listed as Indian. Nevertheless, they have; Lt Col CV Martin, 29th Lancers (Deccan Horse) att. X Corps HQ, KIA 27.3.17, buried Lijssenhoek Military Cemetery. He does not seem to be in ODGW, or (according to PROCAT) in WO 339/ - perhaps he may be in Indian Army records at BL ? I'm interested in his X Corps work. (Why, incidentally, can I not find other officers who were killed in WO 339/. I thought they were all in there unless they continued to serve after 1922 ?????_) grateful for any help Julian
