PeSi Posted 18 August , 2008 Share Posted 18 August , 2008 Good evening gentlemen, I've started collecting ww1-medals some time ago, beginning with Belgian soldiers But now I have a medal of a British soldier, named James Calvert. A friend of mine learned me to use the data of the cwgc. There I found the following information: Name: CALVERT Initials: J Nationality: United Kingdom Rank: Driver Regiment/Service: Royal Field Artillery Unit Text: "A" Bty. 190th Bde. Date of Death: 02/10/1917 Service No: 56727 Casualty Type: Commonwealth War Dead. Would anyone be so kind to provide me some more data about this brave soldier ? Kind regards from Belgium
