Does anyone have information about this unit?

They were at Loos, the Salient, Somme and Arras but unable to find anything about their whereabouts in UK.

Any help and suggestions will be welcomed. Thanks

CB

The War Diary frequently shows the UK deployment details just prior to the unit shipping out.

In this case they were with 9 Division which left for France in Sept 1915. The Diary ref is WO95/1759 and runs from May 1915 to Oct 1919.

Hello Chris

The units of 9th Division concentrated around Bordon in Sep 1914 and trained on Salisbury Plain.

Chris,

Just for info they show in the Med Services OH as arriving in France on 11-5-1915.....they were in the Salisbury Plain area before this but unless someone can give an exact location you might need to look at the 28th's war diary.....
