Guest Colingpayne Posted 14 August , 2008 Share Posted 14 August , 2008 I am trying to find out which unit of the Princess of Wales own Yorkshire Regiment would have been most likely to have been in the Albert area in September 1918 Colin
armourersergeant Posted 14 August , 2008 Share Posted 14 August , 2008 Colin, Do you literally mean the Albert area? At this time the B.E.F. was advancing across the Somme battlefields. The Corps involved rotated many divisions as they went. It may be difficult to pin point the exact battalion. Can you assist with any other information? regards Arm
