Remembered Today:

18 Corps Cyclists

Hello all,

Has anyone got an idea of a diary reference containing July - November 1918 for this 18 Corps Cyclists??

In June 1918, 18 (XVIII) Corps subsumed 8 (VIII) Corps Headquarters, which was broken up.

The 18 Corps Cyclists War Diary goes up to June 1918 and then just disappears (the VIII Corps Cyclists diary WO 95/828 is not them).

In September and October 1918 18 Corps Cyclists were operating under the aegis of the Cavalry Corps/3rd Cavalry Division although administratively they may have been grouped within the Household Machine Gun Brigade; itself attached to the Cavalry Corps.

Kind Regards,

SMJ
