Boer War?? COOMBS - or may have been put as COOMBES (but coombs is the family name) Charles Alfred - but again could have been enlisted under Alfred Was with the Queens Royal West Surrey Regiment Born 1879c married: Lilian or Lily (not sure if this was before enlistment or after) If you could advise his regiment id or enlistment number (not sure or right terminology) and where I can go to obtain this information.
