MelPack Posted 25 July , 2008 Share Posted 25 July , 2008 Brett Here is the MIC but no service records. It looks as if it took him until 1940 to claim his TFWM - hence his correspondence address at that date. Otherwise horse transport 4th Armyand arrival in F&F in 1916. In the post tomorrow in two envelopes. Ralph.
MelPack Posted 25 July , 2008 Share Posted 25 July , 2008 Probably wanted the ribbon for his Home Guard uniform. The service records are not particularly exciting -joined TF ASC in March 1914 and arrived in France August 1916. Regards Mel
brett361975 Posted 25 July , 2008 Author Share Posted 25 July , 2008 Thank you again rjaydee, I look forward to reading them. Will stand you one on the bar tonight. Mel, could be, I picked up his TWFM with a defence medal but sadly not his BWM and Victory. Wasnt sure if the defence had just been put with it.
