My great uncle, Lieutenant-Colonel Lawrence Graeme, was killed in action on that day, whilst in command of the battalion. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Griffith who was killed on this date. CWGC gives his rank as L/Cpl although I'm not sure this is correct. Many thanks for any help you can give.
