Terry Denham Posted 11 July , 2008 Share Posted 11 July , 2008 Chris Sorry to be pedantic - not the Brookwood Memorial. That is another memorial for WW2 names. It is the Brookwood (United Kingdom 1914-1918) Memorial - a mouthful, I know, but accurately describes the names thereon. Often shortened to 'Brookwood UK 14-18'. Will O'Brien Posted 2 August , 2008 Share Posted 2 August , 2008 Good job Chris well done. Out of interest what process are you following to get the place of comemoration changed once the burial site has been established & do you know if CWGC headstones are going to be requested for the unmarked graves? Terry Denham Posted 2 August , 2008 Share Posted 2 August , 2008 Will Chris' successes are passed to me and they are progressed through the GWF process. If no suitable private memorial already exists, CWGC will always seek permission to erect an official stone.
