Army Unknown John Arther Begg. Major DoltonPorritt Ingham. and Charles Cowan McCallum Despatch Rider. all three servived the War I do not know the regiments or battalions all I know is that all three were members of a Masonic Lodge in Middlesbrough North Yorkshire they may have come from this area . Any Infomation Please Hope You can Help Regards Peter.

this assumes they are all in the same Regiment.{Dalton Porrit Ingham being the only one of that name{understandably},there are a number of John Beggs listed {only 1 John A Begg,being Argyll & Sutherland Highrs & the same with Malcolm McCallum,only 1 with intial "C",not RGA though again A&SH.

MiC Dalton Porrit Ingham

Ingham is entitled to the War Badge,so that roll page could throw up some interesting facts,you might be able to find some details in the London Gazette {Promotions.etc;}& he may well be mentioned in the Battery War Diary,

Born circa 1888 [Regd Oct~Dec] Coatham Yorks,son of Wm & Florence Ingham.Married 1913 a Miss Nicholson

LG 1911 shows him Commissioned from Pte in Yorks Hussars into TF RGA Northumbrian Brigade

1911 Commission From Yorkshire Hussars

Dalton Porritt Ingham died 8th December 1956 @ Durley Dean Hotel Bournemouth a Clerk in Holy Orders
