hi is it possible to find out which company he was in on the 3/5/1917 i know he was in the 9th battlion the rifle brigade i have an account of the battle in which he was killed but i can not find which company or platoon also i am missing the date he inlisted many thanks ray

It's unlikely that there will be any record of company - but if there is it would be in the war diary - either as a direct entry or in some form of casualty report
