Remembered Today:

Mystery Cemetery

Because of the statue style and the crosses in the background I am assuming this to be a cemetery.

Badges may be Army Service Corps and Royal Fusiliers.

Any information will be gratefully received.

I don't see any crosses, I don't think they're on a cemetery, they're just on the roadside, probably on a bridge.

Could the 'crosses' be lamps with ornamental balls? and the white object to the left be a fountain?

The photo itself gives off some gaiety and doesnt seem to be in line with a visit to a cemetery.

I think the crosses are gas lamps with round 'luminaires' mounted either on the parapet of a bidge or on a riverside type 'walk.

The statue could be something to do with a previous conflict eg Franco-German.

The women are not dressed in mourning and one is smiling!

Paris anyone?

I was going to guess London. I also think the "crosses" in the background are lamps on the post for an gate. I was thinking more of a park than a bridge or river walk though?
