rob carman Posted 2 July , 2008 Share Posted 2 July , 2008 Good evening, Might the men with the numbers 2446 and 2489 have served in the same RAMC unit? Regards, Rob.
ian turner Posted 2 July , 2008 Share Posted 2 July , 2008 Rob, Whilst it may be tempting to think so it is quite possible that, once enlisted and numbered and after basic training, each serviceman was posted to wherever there was need. Thus they could end up in differing units. That said, I am neither an army numbers nor an RAMC expert! The only way to be sure would be to see their service records, unless (and if they qualified) their MICs give any clues. Ian
