Thomas James Groom

I am just wondering if anyone can help me by hopefully finding some info out for me about one of my relatives who died in action in WW1, Whose name is Thomas James Groom.

This is the info I have already had found out for me.

Regiment Cops etc:- Machine Gun Corps.

Battalion etc:- (Infantry)

Enlisted:- Galashiels.

Rank:- Sergeant.

Number:- 8582.

Theatre of war:- France & Flanders.

Supplementry notes:- FORMERLY S/3201, SEAFORTH HIGH.

Date of death:-21/03/1918.

I would be grateful to anyone who can find any other info out about him for me please.

Lisa, He was born and resided Burnham Overy Norfolk son of James and Ellen H, Wells Road Burnham Overy in 1901. Father was an agricultural labourer. Ralph.(Just in case you do not have this info)

Yes hopefully they will have something on Thomas.
