Minesweeper. requisitioned on 19th September 1917 sunk by submarine 28 May 1918 off Flamborough Head. FY is Fowey which is in Cornwall. The FY in this case stands for "F"isher"Y", it was allocated to all requisitioned trawlers when placed in Royal Navy service. Regards, Brian Actually the entry "Fy" is an error (there is a handful of similar errors in the D&C listing). DIRK's Admiralty No. was 1649.
